Take a Tour of These Celebrities Incredible Garages

Celebrities who love cars often go above and beyond when catering to their obsession with motor vehicles. In addition to scouring the world for the best modern and classic automobiles, they also have to find a way to house and maintain the collection in order to protect their investment.

This is the genesis of some of the most incredible garages in the world, some of which cost millions to build and maintain. Rather than just holding their beautiful vehicles, these celebrity garages are a lifestyle unto themselves, with offices, living spaces, kitchens, and in some cases, enough space for industrial equipment that creates custom made parts.

Jerry Seinfeld’s Manhattan Garage

Seinfeld had a problem. Specifically, he needed to figure out where to park all his Porsches in Manhattan, an already dense borough of New York City. His solution was a secret agent style garage that features a plain facade which hides an amazing secret within.

His super garage is a subterranean marvel that measures three stories deep, complete with four separate garages, a kitchen, living space, and an office. His collection of ridiculous vehicles, which include a 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder and a Porsche 959, are protected through high‑tech climate control as well as a several video feeds which allow Jerry to keep an eye on his collection at all times.

Guy Fieri’s Garage

Celebrity chef Guy Fieri love his garage as much as he loves food, investing plenty to create his own garage of his dreams. He needs the space, too, considering his collection of sun‑yellow, classic American muscle cars, which includes a 1971 Chevelle that he nearly remortgaged his house to purchase.

His own personal custom garage in Northern California include diamond‑plated wainscoting, vintage car hoods as decorations, classic auto parts, a bar, and other amenities.

Ralph Lauren’s Garage

After hitting the magic mark of 60 cars, Ralph Lauren decided to get serious and create a proper garage to hold his amazing collection of vehicles, which are organized according to color and brand. A technician helped him find an appropriate solution, which ended up being a car dealership located near his estate in New York.

He hired the vice president of his own company, Alfredo Paredes, to design the look and feel of his garage. This resulted in a two‑story, museum‑like garage with black floors and white walls to better showcase the collection. A workshop and a small living space that includes a library and office were also added to the compound.

Considering that only five exist on the planet, the standout car in his garage is probably the McLaren F1LM.

Jay Leno’s Garage Compound

James Douglas Muir Leno may have left late‑night television after his departure from The Tonight Show, but he never spends too much time away from his incredible collection of vehicles.

His garage consists of 169 cars and 117 motorcycles at minimum, including models that span decades of automotive history. In fact, his collection of vehicles from the 1940s is so extensive that the video game L.A. Noire recreated cars from that era through Leno’s garage.

His car compound requires 17,000 square feet to fit in the fabrication and machine shop, kitchen, and full team of mechanics and experts. His garage is extensive enough for an entire show about it, appropriately named Jay Leno’s Garage.

John Travolta’s Garage for Cars and Jets

John Travolta is an avid car collector, especially of vintage automobiles, but he’s also a frequent flyer who loves piloting his own private jets when he travels. His Florida compound reflects his passion for aviation and automotive pursuits.

In addition to a sizable garage that holds 16 cars, Travolta parks jets on his compound, which includes a pair of runways and enough space to make it the largest, fully-paved, private airport in the world. In fact, an entire row of jets can park at his compound, which is handy considering that he owns five of them.

The Emirates National Auto Museum (Is a Garage)

As a member of the Royal Family of the United Arab Emirates, Hamad Bin Hamdan al‑Nahyan has had plenty of time to develop his collection of magnificent vehicles, which includes a three‑story tall jeep, a Chicago police car, a Russian tank, and a replica 1886 Mercedes.

Similar to the pharaohs of old, he decided to build a pyramid to leave something behind for the rest of us. This pyramid ended up being his garage, and his garage is The Emirates National Auto Museum.

His museum garage holds more than 200 vehicles in a complex that includes streetlights, park benches, streets, and extensive walkways, in addition to all the workshops required to keep everything in proper working order.
